I just wanted to point out that the upgrade packages (to 3.2.1.4) don't have the latest XML files in them that say version 3.2.1.4. All the XML files in the update packages say the version is 3.2.1.3.

I know you say these are provided as a courtesy and don't support this method of upgrading but figured I should at least report this. I really rely on these upgrade packages as it makes the process much simpler in my opinion as our server sometimes times out doing a zip install, and we have modified a few core files so this allows us to know exactly what files are changed.

The patches are there but they do not have the correct XML files in the zip files that indicate the version is version 3.2.1.4. In the past they come with updated XML files, so it looks like I still have 3.2.1.3 installed still even though I copied the patch over. Previous patches would update the version number in XML. Does this make sense?

The XML files are not correct in the actual Zip patch file that I downloaded is what I am trying to explain, so they are not going to be correct on my website. This post was more an FYI, that in the future if these patch files are provided, it would be helpful if they could include XML files that have the new version name in them... let me try to explain...

Step 1) Download the update patch titled JomSocial_3.2.1.3_to_JomSocial_3.2.1.4.zip
Step 2) Open the update patch in winzip / win rar, or whatever tool you use.
Step 3) Navigate to the folder 3.2.1.3 - 3.2.1.4\administrator\components\com_community in the zip file or extracted data from zip file
Step 4) Notice that there is no XML file. The XML file is where the version name is contained. So when I copy this patch file onto my server that is currently running JomSocial 3.2.1.3 then go visit my page it will still say I am running version 3.2.1.3 even though I copied all the patch files over. This is because there is no XML file saying this is version 3.2.1.4. This is the same for most of the plugins and modules. Previous patch files have contained XML files with the new version, while this patch file has not.

I just wanted to point this out so hopefully future patch files will contain this. These patch files are very helpful in my environment so I appreciate you making them.
