Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
As the screen capture indicates below, the message was posted 09:28am when in fact it was posted at 10:28am. I have set my time zone accordingly on my profile and the time zone offset is correctly set, yet the date seems to be inaccurate regardless.
This has only been like this, since replacing the most recent fix of the activities.php file. (

It's a relatively minor issue, but would be nice to have messages displaying the correct posting times.
You used fixed time on stream, instead of lapsing. Fixed time will be deprecated in future releases of JomSocial.
Date and time displayed on your stream is take direct from db. And time there is stored as 0 GMT (safest way to do it).
Stream by default uses lapsed time and don't correct fixed time with time zone offset.
So I'm sorry but only thing I could recommend is to set time display on stream to lapsed.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
I've adjusted Activity Stream Date Style to Lapsed now, Okay that stops the time error showing, however it doesn't resolve why actual time cannot be displayed if each user can set his/her own time zone.
