We're having this problem where moms add locations and upload photos for those locations for other moms. But it shows up in frontend activity stream as:

1. User "uploaded new {photos} in place {group}"
2. User "created the place {group}"

JS is integrated with geo-location component J!Places (Like FourQuare).
I bought it over a year ago (There's no J3.0 version) so I can't upgrade the site to Joomla 3 yet.
The developer Axxis Internet Solutions ( axxis.gr/ ) discontinued support for this component (I'm not a programmer).

I need it to show the proper names instead of {photos} and {group} It shows correctly in JS backend though.

The upgrade may not taken place properly.

Good morning Ashraf. This problem is still also still remain even after the Jomsocial uninstall and re-install. What else could be causing this? I submitted my live site and test site access info. Please have the developers login and take a look. Site files and database have been backed up. Thnx

Hi Ashraf, I use Webmin control panel to make folder permissions writable when I get to that step. I just went ahead and fixed permissions to make JS folders writable for the installation. Try it again. Thnx

Now the jomsocial package installed successfully.
But it seems the current template "Yoo micasa" have overridden jomsocial
and that was the reason, icon was missing.
Now I have altered the template with joomla default and now it is showing fine.
I have also uploaded image from group and from front page and both case it is working fine.
Please check.
