I have a completely clean install at the moment. I have installed both Joomla and JomSocial in my local computer everything is running fine. I then uploaded it to my host provider (Design Turtle) and the problem I get is in the JomSocial Dashboard under Configure all the sublinks in this category with the exception of Templates brings an error of;
0 String could not be parsed as XML
Just need help understanding and fixing this issue

It can be your internet connection, I just tried your backend on my end and seems everything is working fine...
anyway, I disabled "Jomsocial Update" plugin, since we have ijoomla installer that plugin is not be used anymore.

Thank you Dimas for the help I did find the problem back on my host server I had to make an exception in my outgoing connections. Once I did everything is now up and running fine!
