JomSocial Active Socialize Expired

I installed Jomsocial 3.1.1 from 2.6.3(? cant remember the exact digits, but it was the one before 3.1.1) and it broke my front-end bringing up a blank page. Thinking that it may be resolved by getting fully upgraded, I continued on to 3.2.1.3. This got one piece of the page showing, which by following the link shows the rest of the site seems to be relatively there. Something is clearly very broken, can i please get assistance on resolving it.
