Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I just upgraded to the latest version of JomSocial and now I have some configuration issues.
1) When you click on "Join us now, it's free!" button on the community home page, nothing happens. It just reloads the community home page. The user is not taken to the registration form. How can I redirect to the registration form? Here is the link to our community:
www.yabookscentral.com/component/community/
2) I'd like to get rid of the banner image across the top of the community home feed or change it. Which file do I edit to do this?
3) The home feed items are all jumbled and not streamlined like they use to be (seen in screenshots). All the items are situated on top of each other with no spacing it out so that each user's item is distinguishable from the next. Can I fix this, or is this a conflict with my site's template?
4) I've also never gotten the facebook integration to work on my site, and I've received very little help from this forum over the past year and a half regarding that. Hopefully now I can get some answers and get it up and running. As you can see from one of the screenshots, the facebook button doesn't even show up in the login area. It just says, "or" and then there is a space where the button should be. There are random times when that button will show up on the sidebar Hello Me login module, but when you click on it, it shows my facebook profile picture and account name, but then says that a connection could not be made to the facebook account. Again, this is seemingly random, so I can't explain how to recreate this issue.
Also, now when I sign into the front end, I get a blank page with only my avatar in the upper left corner. If you sign into the frontend using the login credentials provided, you should be able to see what I mean. I've also included a screenshot.
Wow, 9 hours and still no reply on a critical error. The module mod_onlineusers was causing a fatal error. Now everything seems to run as needed, except I would still like help with issues #2 and #4.
We are sorry for delay answer, OK I will answer only for point #2 and #4
