after upgrading fresh to JomSocial 3 Rock Solid, I applied the patch to go to 3.2.1.2. I noticed it copied several files extensions such as "iContact plugin, jomsocial fb comments, JomSocial Facebook likes,Incomplete profile, jsnote" What is the deal with these files? Are they just provided for long term support but no longer provided in newer versions of JomSocial? I scoured the full 3.2.1.2 release and didn't see these plugins in the all_plugins zip so I am assuming they are updates to add ons?

Have you upgraded your package from 3.2.1.1?

Hi, I will try and clarify.

I did a clean install of JomSocial 3.2.1.1. I then wanted to upgrade to JomSocial 3.2.1.2. I used the patch file provided in the forums. The patch file included several plugin and modules that were never installed in the full version. Some examples are the "JomSocial Facebook likes Plugin, and JSnote plugin". In the upgrade patch there was the xml files for these plugins would be copied to my server. However since none of these plugins were installed or included in the Full version of 3.2.1.1 (they aren't included in the zip file for jomsocial pro, i explored the all_modules.zip and all_plugins.zip and these were not found) I was left with several incomplete plugins that show up in Joomla when I do Extensions -> manage -> discover. These plugins mostly won't install correctly because they are missing the php file which was not included in the patch.

I am just wondering why this is is done. I am assuming it is becasue these are old plugins and modules that are no longer included in new JomSocial releases; however updates are still provided in the patches for people who may be using these from a long time ago? Some of the plugins & modules look like they have been replaced by new ones while others offer interesting functionality not present in the full install of JomSocial 3.2.1.1 or above (such as the facebook like plugin). Or should these plugins have been included in the 3.2.1.1 and weren't?
