Hi Again,

I have a problem with uploading photos.

Once I have selected a photo and clicked on upload - multiple fields are created with the same image and uploading takes a very long time.

The image only uploads once to the album but the multiple fields are going to be very confusing for clients.

Please see screenshot attached.

You're using outdated and unsupported version of JomSocial... that has also know security venerability.
Please, upgrade ti to most recent version -> JomSocial 3.2.1.1 and check if issue persist.

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job

Hi, Janey.

What browser do you use?
I tried to upload 3 photos via FF and it works fine: prntscr.com/474wzq
Do you have template override for that pages?
I mean, I don't see "Create Photo Album" and "Upload Photos" that are displayed by default.

Hi Michal,

I'm using Chrome Version 36.0

Ok, I've just done an upload in FF and yes, it works perfectly, so obviously a Chrome issue. Is there a way to troubleshoot that to find the error?

I'm not sure what you mean by "I don't see "Create Photo Album" and "Upload Photos" that are displayed by default."

I have "hidden" the toolbar links as we wanted the menu area to be minimal. Should the upload not work just as well using the menu item?

Thanks

Hi, Janey.

Upload that you use was designed for older browsers that doesn't support new method of photos uploading (like IE7).
So basically photos should be uploaded using "Upload button". I meant those buttons: prntscr.com/4758fc
Here loading photos take place in modal window using plupload script.

I'll report that issue as a bug to our developers as we had few similar issues under Chrome that multiplicated content.
but I recommend to use plupload and modal window instead of page based upload (that you use now).

Could you describe step by step how this issue could be replicated?
And add you printscreens using this service: prntscr.com/ (those attached here are just too small).
