here the fixes for that issue:
1. Connect via FTP to your server
2. Browse to file ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/inbox.read.php for default template, or any template under ROOT/components/com_community/templates/
3. Edit it.
4. Look for <div class="cStream-FormInput">
5. Just replace it (or add necessary class) with: <div class="cStream-FormInput cWall-Form">

Was ist a Bug from JomSocial? Reason for asking is, ´cause I like to know if this happens again after the next upgrade. ;-)

But there are two other things that are "not nice".

1. The text-field is only one line high and the background around it is nearly transparent, so on many monitors users don´t see that they can type anything in. Is this on purpose and can this be changed?

2. Whenever I want to answer a message, the field is prefilled with some "space"-letters. It´s invicible, but when I click on the box, the curser is not "at the begining" but in the place, where I clicked. Do you know what I mean?

yes it is. but this bug fixes already included at our next release.

1. at text field user can press enter button to put new line. I want have a look at your site, but i can't login any more.
2 can provide me the screenshot? it could be related with the CSS template.
