Multiple Avatars, and cover photos during upload

Hi Jomsocial Team,|
After a recent upgrade of jomsocial & Joomla.
I am having the same problem ( www.jomsocial.com/forum/installation/185...-when-changing-cover ) that was resolved.
However when applying the patch in the above link (cover.zip) the system still uploads different copies (6-10) of the AVATARS,... and the ensuing status posts.
is there a similar patch for the Avatars?

dont forget to backup the files before replace it.
