Hello, we have to migrate an very old productive Site running Joomla 1.5.26 and JomSocial version 1.6.283. I made all the described steps to upgrade (jomsocial 1.6.283 -> jomsocial 1.6.290 -> tierupgrade jomsocial 1.8.11 -> jomsocial 2.0.6). At this point, some textlinks at the backend are missing / written in versal letters e.g. CC EVENT (screenshot "js206_CCEVENT.png").

And if I make the next upgrade step to 2.2.5 the database is messed up (look at screenshot "js225installation.png" and "js225installationresult.png"). There is definitively an update problem between js version 2.0.6 to js version 2.2.5 and my upgrade process must stop at this point. So I am stucking here and I have no chance to get to version 2.6.3 (needed for migration to joomla 2.5/3.x)

I tried several local host installs, re-install of plugins modules and so on. Any idea - or better - help?

I see your joomla_3_3 and your alraedy installed Jomsocial version 3.2.1 very well, am I wrong?

Hello, thank you for your quick response. But the new 3_3 site has to be migrated from the old (productive) site just in time with a minimum of downtime. I had to do a lot of handwork via mySQL Workbench to get this migrated. And there are still some fields, connections missing (e.g. {actor}). Some additional plugins (like JS User Search) won't work correctly due to the missing sql joins (e.g. proximity search -> php errors appears).

I need a clean and complete migration process from 1.5.26 and JomSocial version 1.6.283. Otherwise there will be problems due to missing data base entries. Is there any other update possibility without the step JS 2.0.6 to 2.2.5?

Well, since version 2.8 we did the huge improvement on stream data, so some streams which come from version <2.8 will be useless, because in newest version we are not using tag {actor} {targe},etc.. anymore..

You can do the upgrading directly, just skip step by step upgrading.. do to the latest version from now, and if you found some issue regarding database error, just let me know, I will update the database manually then.

And thanks for the patches. But how do they work? I'll get an error message while importing into the database...
Am I right that these patches are for removing {actor}, {target} etc. entries?

Well updgrade joomla is different topic :) I only mentioned for upgrading Jomsocial.

Then you upgrade the Jomsocial to the latest version 3.2.1, and then back it to me once you done.. I will finish it then :)

the joomla site is already migrated and works. That's not the problem. I asked for the JomSocial database migration. But anyway. I will upgrade the last / newest database entries as soon as my client says "go" and will contact you then a.s.a.p.

But still the JS database has to be correctly updated after customer o.k. - and then with the newest posts from yesterday on with a minimum of downtime.

But since JS version 3.2.1 there is another problem:

Problem still persists on my migrated site at at www.wahl-verwandtschaft.de/joomla_3_3 too. Even the update to JomSocial 3.2.1.1 does not solve the problem. An email ist sent to the user but without an activation link. After registration you will be linked to the Joomla login page.

We can't go online with the new site without fixing the registration process.

Hi Dimas, sorry, but I can't change my registrated Domains on "My Account" at JomSocial.. So I'm not able to make a new post because the problem caused on the new Site located at www.wahl-verwandtschaft.de/joomla_3_3 and this domain isn't registrated. I tried to change the 2nd registrated domain " www.text2net.de " to " www.wahl-verwandtschaft.de " - but it doesn't work.

meanwhile we've migrated the complete site to Joomla 3.3.3 and JomSocial 3.2.1.4. We could fix a couple of problems and missig data base entries by ourselves.

But for the following tasks we need again your help. If you click at an users discussions stream (e.g. "Verbesserungsvorschläge" an error message occures. 500 .../components/com_community/events/groups.trigger.php:101
