Hi

I have created a private group
When a user want to join, he will click on the join button.

In my case, nothing happen. No warning message
In fact, the button is active, because i receive the notification message to inform me, but the user don't know if it ok for him.
I think it is a problem

Is it a bug or due to my template ?

This issue is related with language file. It seems that in string appears non-latin character that caused js error.
I checked in English language and it works just fine.

I'll ask js developer for advice.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Make a safe copy of this file: ROOT/components/com_community/controllers/groups.php
And upload patched file to the same location.

It works !!
The user has now a text advice

For a next release, it could be better if the system could block multiple notification.
The user can still click 10 times on the join button, and the system will send 10 notification.
A delay between each click could be great !
