Hey all!

I tried to upgrade to latest Jomsocial release today, so first I un-installed my current version and then I installed the new one, it runs fine until the green "Complete your installation" button appears. At this step I'm getting a "An error occured - 404 component not found" message. Jomsocial appears in my components menu, but if I click that one I also get a 404 component not found.

Not sure why this is happening? I've been trying several times. I've really been trying to avoid 3rd party plugins and all that this time. Still think it's weird that it does not even install.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks!

EDIT : I just disabled the " User - Jomsocial User" plugin because I got strange errors with it. It's probably because Jomsocial didn't install correctly...

The installation was not finished and i'm guessing that the 404 error you were seeing was the page timed out then the constant 404 error was browser caching, the installation is now finished and it appears to be working correctly, i can access jomsocial without any problems at all in admin now

Thanks Paul, yes it works fine now. Was it just my browser cache you think? So if I ever run into this problem again it might help to clear my cache?

Really strange as I haven't had this problem before, ever. And I've installed / updated Jomsocial many times in the past :).
