I just installed JomSocial 3.2.0.7
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/pkidney/public_html/libraries/phputf8/utils/unicode.php on line 49
is the error I am getting when I try to create an article or create a menu item etc...
Now I uninstalled all of the JomSocial extensions, dropped the MySQL tables.
I can create articles again, but I cannot reinstall JomSocial. It says,
"There was an error uploading the file to the server"
Hi Patrick,
Please you increase the memory_limit in php.ini to 1024M, which that is our recomendation for Jomsocial
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/System_Requirements
thank you
Hi Patrick,
Your memory limit is still using 32M, please you increase it to 1024M, contact your hosting provider for any help.
thank you

Hi Patrick,
Did you restart your server after you applied the new value ?
thank you
Alright, so it appears that someone from JomSocial support successfully installed JomSocial for me on my site and now I have my php settings correct and everything appears to be working fine.
Thank you.
My only remaining concern is that I do NOT have any jos _community tables in my database at the moment. I would imagine that this is not OK...
Hi Patrick,
You dont need the Database patch and your Jomsocial site is working great right now..
thank you
So where is the the JomSocial data being stored??
Please explain this to me.
When I originally installed JomSocial I had all of these tables in my database so please understand my concern:
`jos_community_activities`, `jos_community_activities_hide`, `jos_community_apps`, `jos_community_avatar`, `jos_community_blocklist`, `jos_community_config`, `jos_community_connection`, `jos_community_connect_users`, `jos_community_engagement`, `jos_community_events`, `jos_community_events_category`, `jos_community_events_members`, `jos_community_featured`, `jos_community_fields`, `jos_community_fields_values`, `jos_community_files`, `jos_community_groups`, `jos_community_groups_bulletins`, `jos_community_groups_category`, `jos_community_groups_discuss`, `jos_community_groups_invite`, `jos_community_groups_members`, `jos_community_invitations`, `jos_community_likes`, `jos_community_location_cache`, `jos_community_mailq`, `jos_community_memberlist`, `jos_community_memberlist_criteria`, `jos_community_msg`, `jos_community_msg_recepient`, `jos_community_notifications`, `jos_community_oauth`, `jos_community_photos`, `jos_community_photos_albums`, `jos_community_photos_tag`, `jos_community_photos_tokens`, `jos_community_profiles`, `jos_community_profiles_fields`, `jos_community_register`, `jos_community_register_auth_token`, `jos_community_reports`, `jos_community_reports_actions`, `jos_community_reports_reporter`, `jos_community_storage_s3`, `jos_community_tags`, `jos_community_tags_words`, `jos_community_userpoints`, `jos_community_users`, `jos_community_user_status`, `jos_community_videos`, `jos_community_videos_category`, `jos_community_videos_tag`
Hi Patrick,
Well, the jomsocial data is stored on your database name "pkidney_jos1" and for getting record profile fields can be viewed at this table "jos_community_profiles_fields", I suggest if you wanna get the profile fieds, you go to Jomsocial backend->profile->costumize profile.
If you have another question please let me know.
thank you
Did you read my post??
I said I am worried because when I connect to my database, "pkidney_jos1", in MySQL workbench, THERE ARE NO _COMMUNITY tables. Not a single one.
I know that is where they SHOULD BE but they are not there.
