how can i set my user Privacy , so that nothing, in fact nothing appears outside(Public) the website front-page.
Example i will like to prevent even messages or system comments like " A is now friends with B " etc from appearing on front-page after log-out.
Messages should be seen only by registered or site members and not by public..
Although i've set my default privacy for user to be site-members i sometimes see messages or comments like above on the FrontPage after log-out.

Hi, Steve.

1. You need to set in Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Layout -> Frontpage Activity Stream (box in lower right) -> Show Activity Stream -> Members Only

2. You need to set Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Default User Privacy -> ALL positions to Members

3. To prevent viewing Photos, Friends, Events, Videos and Groups you'll need to create a hidden menu in Joomla! (hidden mean that no menu module is assigned to them menu) and inside it menu items that leads directly to Photos, Friends, Events, Videos and Groups. This will assign menu item ID to that pages. Then set access for that menu items to Registered.

Now your site should be fully private :)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

After setting it like you said in 1. and 2. , it has resulted in another issue ::
Example : A)
When member "A" post an info , member B cannot see it on his own stream until Member "B" clicks on member A's profile to see .
And i tried it out by making member "A" and "B" friends , which produced the same result like mentioned above.
B) I think member "B" should be able to see member A's post on his stream without going to his profile and vise versa unless they choose to change their privacy settings to " only me " or whatever.
Finally how do i get it done like explained in B).
thx in advance
Cheers!
