Upgraded JomSocial to latest release, site is now broke

Fatal error: Call to undefined function lcfirst() in /home/wings/public_html/components/com_community/helpers/access.php on line 46

Getting that error with error reporting turned on.

All the other JomSocial pages are just blank with no error reporting turned on - wingssportsbar.com/events-entertainment/...vent/12-nick-mitchel

What can I do?

Please, edit your first post and add FTP credentials.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Rolled back my change - it's your server issue. PHP on server is too old for current JomSocial version.

This all worked last night up until around 9:00EST.

It was only when I checked the site this morning, the profile pages were no longer working, hence me trying the upgrade.

I added several events last night while logged into JomSocial, so I know it was working last night.

Your server need to meet JomSocial system requirements.
I checked both your issues and both are caused by old version of PHP.

Upgrade your PHP version and issues should be gone.
