1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax

I have read through the forum and tried the patch file mentioned in another post (File Name: Joomla33_compat_fix.zip)
but no luck.
Basically any Jomsocial function gives me the error of
1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE = 1' at line 1 SQL=SELECT * FROM WHERE = 1
I also tried to create a new admin user on the backend and got this error message.
Joomla! 3.3.1 ( I just upgraded the site from Joomla 2.5 and everything else upgraded smoothly)

The good news is that user is created. Just click Cancel after you get that notice.

The bad news is error notice... I assign developer to that thread.

EDIT:

Please, edit your first post and provide access to PHPmyAdmin to examine database.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Marry,

That error caused by your 3rd community plugins, which already outdated.. I disabled all plugins and working fine now.
