JomSocial Expired

Hi Staff, glad to see you againg.
I just renewed subscription and updated to last version 3.2.
What is wrong to my websites:

1) Links to photos, videos, events, groups, are not working correctly.
Try to click to some photo, or group, or event, or video and you can not see it.
Alway you get the home page.

2) My S3 Amazon it's OK since years.
Now all albums and videos, older that one year (about) are not visible.
Even if remote storage is set in order to send photos to Amazon, if you load some photo it comes loaded and stored on local.

Thanks to help me.

Hi, Piero.

1. When you upgrading JomSocial menu items in JomSocial toolbar lost "connection" with component. Joomla! mark them as disabled and with notice: "Il componente 'com_community' non esiste". In order to fix it please follow this instruction:

- click on menu item in JomSocial menu in order to edit it
- when in edit mode don't change anything
- save
- menu item should be fixed
- do it for every JomSocial related menu items (if needed)

2. Did you set up cron job? It's needed to export files to Amazon S3.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Piero.

I uploaded a photo and tried to push it to S3 via manual cron run... but it end with 500: prntscr.com/3tmv2n
So we have server issue here... Photos or videos will be not pulled to remote storage when corn fails to run.

1. Upgrade your server settings to RECOMMENDED: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/System_Requirements
2. Ask your hosting provider for assistance in reviewing server error log.
