Hi everyone,

When users sing in add try to add other users or send messages, there is a blank window appears and cant do anything.

Her we could have two sources of that issue:

1. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE: lmgtfy.com/?q=net%3A%3AERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE+
I experienced it too but only in Chrome. Clearing browser cache should solved it.

2. If this will not help try to increase your server settings to meet recommended system requirements:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/System_Requirements

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,

I tried both steps and issue still continues. I have tried to add friend or send message with 4 different browsers and 3 different computers and its still not working. It was just working in the morning but suddenly something happened.

Ok, try to recall what you changed before it stopped to work?
Did you installed something?

I'll assign developer to this thread.

Please, edit your first post and add credentials to PHPmyAdmin.
Also prepare server error log.

make sure that memory_limit is increased so Joomla! debugging tool could be enabled. Without it we could not dig into issue.
