User Activation problem

Hi,
I upgraded to JomSocial 3.2.0.5 and Joomla 3.3.0.

when I register a new user I get the mail with the activation link like this:





when I clik the link (with debug info activated) I see this error message:

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /htdocs/public/www/components/com_community/controllers/register.php on line 1197 Fatal error: Call to undefined method CommunityModelRegister::activate() in /htdocs/public/www/components/com_community/controllers/register.php on line 1210

can you please help me?

Hi, Stefano.

I see that you modified few core files:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/register.index.php
ROOT/components/com_community/models/register.php
ROOT/components/com_community/models/profile.php

Please, restore original files and check if issue persist.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

thanks for your reply I forgot to copy the method activate() in the register.php file!
