How to display article notice on Activity Stream?

Hi there,

I have upgraded my joomla site to j3.3

My JS Version is:3.2.0.5

I have noticed that when add a new articles it is not added to the AS (checked in the backend as well).

Show Activity Stream is set to show, but still, it is not working.

My question is: what option\plugin should I use in order to make it start again?

Hi Tamir,

Can you please advise us which domain you would like support for. Your domain is one URL and the administration URL is a different site. Please edit your first reply and add the one domain you want supported for this active licence into the Miscellaneous field. We can then update it for you and offer support for that site. Please be aware that your licence entitles you to support for one domain only so please advise what that should be.

hi,

The only domain associated with this account is dwh.co.il.

funet.co.il is the service provides is which dwh.co.il was added to one of it`s account folders.

if i write dwh.co.il as the only domain, then your support system will not let me add the funet account admin details. on the other hand if i write funet.co.il as the only domain it would be wrong (unless you want to give license to all funet`s customers).

I hope this answer statisfy you and you can proceed to replying to my question.

If dwh.co.il domain is valid the we'll support JomSocial under that domain.
tamirdwh.funet.co.il/subdomains/dwh/main1_bkp/ and dwh.co.il have different content.

Providing your hosting provider domain as supported domain is really bad idea as we'll look your site and JomSocial under that domain.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

hi,

in order to make along story short, i have created a subdomain on dwh.co.il.

I also added an ftp account.

It is all in the initial post.

Can you please provide me now with support?

Now is alright.

You mean that when you add articles in Joomla they are not displayed in activity stream/
And they will not out-of-the-box.
There is no direct connection between JomSocial and Joomla! articles.
You'll need additional extension in order to display information about articles on activity stream.
Try to use this extension: www.jomsocial.com/addons/content-enhancements/articles

Hi,

I am trying to install it on my js 3.2.0.5 on j3.3


and I get:

Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

Error
Path does not have a valid package.
