after uninstalling 3.1 and installing latest version today to do an upgrade, no body is able to write on the wall.
It is just that when you type in a letter or a few they get deleted instantly.

Your template containing some javascript to override/remove any text at textarea.

to bypass your template, add &template=0 at the end off URL
e.g: index.php/component/community/?Itemid=120&template=0

you can see, if not using your current template. the sharebox textarea can write normally.

I suggest you to ask your template support.

thanks but I don't understand why this is occuring now. I have not changed the template and it worked pefectly with all previous jomsocial versions. Do you have any other solution? I am using a self built template created with artisteer, so there is no support to this specific template.

indipendent from the previous problem (which was caused by the overrides I had done) when clicking on an event on the front page the link is not working it just leads to the frontpage again.

Update: It works deactivating seo in joomla config, can this go with seo enabled somehow?

unfortunateley newest jomsocial version has caused more problems for me then the old ones :(

seem the administrator access level (provided at Site Info), not as super user. No permission for configuration.
can I make your site copy? to my local. I will download it from Akeeba Backup. It's more easy for me to debugging locally, no need to afraid damaging the production site (because local copy).

for debugging purpose I need your FTP access detail and super user for joomla administrator access.

FYI: editing your first post at this topic and update any credential information at Site Info form.
