Hi,

I hostetd jommla on a hosteurope server. I configured a cronjob to start the file cronjob.php in the familiy.de directory. In this file I've written the command from the docu.

But it doesn't work .

I tried also the command on SetCronJob. The same result: not working.

Manual with a klick on the execute cron button in backend all email were sent.

Any idea ?

Hi, Heiko.

So probably your hosting provider limited cronjob to run a file not command...
In this case only solution is to place that command in a file how you did it.
But now, probably command inside your file is wrong.
Please ask your hosting provider for help to write right command.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Heiko.

Your hosting provider has limitations in his service so it should be his responsibility to provide you a solution that bypasses hosting service limitations (if it's possible). As cron job in JomSocial works flawlessly the only issue is to run it from a file. I'm preatty sure that your hosting provider help you with this. Good luck.

Is it a software or server problem ?

Thanks a lot,
