where can i change the auto log out settings to give users longer on the system before they are logged out?

Hi Alan,

the auto log out system is joomla session handler system, you can change it on joomla backend.

1. Go to joomla backend
2. Go to "Global Configuration"
3. Go to "System" Tab navigation
4. at the bottom of this section search "Session Lifetime"
5. set this value more higher
