ERROR! Can't Access JomSocial Home Page

I followed the instructions for install. The install went fine... SUCCESSFUL!
I added a menu item to the site to display the home page of Jom Social and I get this error:

Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /home/platinu/public_html/womensluxuryguild.com/site/plugins/user/profile/profile.php on line 256

Please advise.

NOTE. I am new to this component. Have never used it before, so please direct with that information.

Now I'm getting a new error. Please help.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function lcfirst() in /home/platinu/public_html/womensluxuryguild.com/site/components/com_community/helpers/access.php on line 46

Hi Deneen,

can you explain to me step by step to produce that errors?
because I found no problem with your site. I set jomsocial menu at home page, no any errors



and using direct access to URL: yoursite/site/index.php/en/jomsocial no any errors. I think i missing something.
