Hi

Once again , many thanks for a fantastic job with JomSocial , Thank you!

Now we are on:

Joomla 3.3.0
JomSocial 3.2.0.5
PHP 5.4
(tried php 5.5 but then Firefox did not work, it became blank)

Accompany all login information to you.

After updating the page , we have some minor problems .

1 , We have made some changes in the text when someone searches for membership but the basic principle is the same .
Everything worked as it should in JomSocial 3.1, but after the update to 3.2 a blank email is sent to the applicant for membership. What could be wrong ?



2 , Get info from some members (not admins) who have joined an event can remove other attending members from the Confirmed Guests list. Remove button is visible to them but only after they are attending.

3 , A while ago I asked about why it was 0 info in Demografic ( www.jomsocial.com/forum/technical-issues...some-other-questions )
Got the answer that our members did't filled in the profil correct. Now, many filled the profile but there is still no change . What are we doing wrong ?

4, "Member" and xx others are attending or "member" and xx others have liked something. Why is not every singel member that liked or are attending published ? Now everyone only see the first one and have to go in to an event to find out more.

5, Location / map, how do one ad new or more places because now there is not that many useful places to us?

1. What changes did you made? You edited language file, right? Because I don't see language override for it. What constant text was changed?

2. Specifying user will be a great help. I registered myself on your page in order to check it as a regular user. P

3. Its, probably because you used your native words fro Male and Female I changed it into language constant but still need to check your database. Please provide us access to PhpMyAdmin: edit your first post and add credentials to Miscellaneous field.

4. only last user will be mentioned on activity stream, the rest is visible in modal window after clicking number. It was changed due previous user complains that list is too long on activity stream.

5. Could you tell me more about what you need? You're referring to event map or friends location?

1, I only changes the text in "xxxx" and did't change anything else as I beleve. It was working in 3.1 and now I started over sins there are some more text lines.

2, an example is twist and it's a regular user.

4, Okej, well we will try to live with that ;-)

5, I'm referring to if I try to select my location where I write my status only a few places comes up on the Google map and some times a long way from where I'm. I can't text in anything or find other places, it's only what the map comes up with. So my question is how is it meant to work and is it working as is should or am I doing something wrong?

1. This is fixed. probably you messed up something in language file. So I created an override in Backend -> Extensions -> Language manager -> Overrides. If you want to change email text, do it there.

2 and 3. I can't login to cpanel... also always edit your first post and add credentials there. Don't post sensitive data in posts.

4. I'll try to fix it since I gain access to db ;)

5. This is how it works... I received few complains about this feature so I rise this to our developers.

1. Fixed.
2. I see in database that this user is owner in only one event... and doesn't have admin rights. So In what event user was able to remove other users? Just post name of event.
3. Fixed. Now chart shows data. I run two SQL queries in your database to correct entries. So now it should be ok. I saw many users didn't filled gender field ;)

So now we only need to fix issue no. 2 ;)

Once again, million thanks!

1, Yes it seems to be fixt but I don't know if I'm lost or if it's change in the system?
Before the applicant, got a mail to confirm there e-mailadress but that is not coming now.
I don't need it but just want to know so the system is working.

2, They are attending club Absint 14 june and there they have the remove button . Just to test they now are attending Vårfest på gården i Smögen (28) 29, 30, 31 maj & 1 juni 2014 but there is no remove button.....

An other "funny" thing happens in the flow - "Livsnjutare66 and 6 others are attending Vårfest på gården i Smögen (28) 29, 30, 31 maj & 1 juni 2014" is shown. Livsnjutare66 I believe was the first to attend of more than 20 and twist is not show at all in the popupwindow?

3, Yes Male / Female but not Average Age, it's 0.

4, Yes but it's some time not working correct I believe like I explained above in 2, ?

1. When you have admin approval then there is no email confirmation.

2. Ok, I need some time to check it further.

3. So it means that there is issue with age field too... I'll check it.

4. Latest user that joined event is showed by name on the stream, some number of user that joined event recently is shown in pop up... the rest is on full list. But I need to talk with designers if it suppose to work that way.

1, I tested to do new test accounts and even then I don't get any confirmation mail.

2, Maybe it's be course the event Absint is from JS 3.1 and it's maybe working in 3.2?

3, Sorry, I thought it was the same function, thanks.

4, I made a testevent and it's like you say but in the event "Vårfest på gården i Smögen (28) 29, 30, 31 maj & 1 juni 2014" it's not. Maybe it also has to do with that it's from JS 3.1 time?

1. Ok, let me explain. In Joomla! you have 3 states for account activation: none, self (user receives email with activation link) and admin (as for now don't work with JomSocial). So activation link will be sent only if you set account activation as "self" and there will be NO MULTIPROFILES with administrator approval. If you use multiprofiles with administrator approval there is no need to send activation email to user as account is activated by administrator.

2. Yes, it could be the reason as this feature was updated in 3.2.05 as we have bug in it. So probably old events should have wrong user display. But it doesn't explain why regular users (and now event owners) could delete other users from event...

4. I think we figured this out in pt. 2 ;)

1, okej I understand.

3, you say it's pending. When is it fixt?

2 & 4, lets see whats happens in future and close it from the list at now.

3. This was caused by misconfiguration. You choose select field for gender... and it should be gender field (a kind of special field)
I changed that type of field... but average age statistic are still zero... So probably you'll need to create new field for gender and ask everybody to fill it again... or system will "catch" my change and statistic will be populated...
