We have the welcome page set up the way we like (no modules active in the sidebar), but we notice that when a user who is signed in clicks the link to sign out, the page they are taken to shows the modules in the sidebar again.

I just setup this with Jomsocail redirect plugin, and should work fine now..

Please check again, actually you can set it by your self.. edit the plugin jomsocial redirect and set the after login and logout as you want
