I found out that there is some problem with activity stream coming from kunena forum.

I searched forum and found out that someone also posted same thing but no correct response related to that question.

1. If user clicks in Kunena forum on the button "Thank You" button, activity from that is shown on community wall and on user profile who wrote message on forum. If a for example: user 1 clicks thanks button on post of user 2, on activity stream it is shown like this:

- user1 thanks user 'user1' in the forum message

but it should say: user1 thanks user 'user2' in the forum message

#1 I suggest you contact to the kunena developer for this, since Jomsocial not handle for that stream item.
#2 I just checked in newest code in my end, end seems this is working fine, I suggest you wait the newest package for fixing this,

1. Well if I don't manage to do it, where can it be disabled so its not showed on stream when someone clicks "Thank You".

2. When is newest package coming out?

1. Go to Kunena Configuration in backend click users->Enable Thank You Feature->set to No
2. Will be released soon, we are under testing right now, waiting the stable fix for FBC issue

Ok I installed and its working now. Now it says: user1 has liked user2's Profile

I got question.

1. Is there some way so I don't have to rename and delete js modules after every update?

Because I followed your instructions to delete first js and then install new version.

2. Is there way to keep my images of profile default avatar, group avatar and others after update? I tried to create folder in mytemplate/html/com_community/assets and copy there my defult avatars but seems its not working. Maybe you should add option in JS admin panel, like upload default image for male profile, female, group, welcome page.

Hi O,

For any hack job you need re-apply again after upgrading, but in next release version 3.3 we will improve this things, we will try the assets image and css can be overriden, so next you dont need re-apply the hack code after upadating.

I got some answers already in one of JS groups

1. Why do you change avatars after every upgrade? Don't you know that you can override them?

2. I guess you are using English as a default language. Joomla by default offers you the way to override any language string.
docs.joomla.org/… (you can google how to do that in Joomla 3.3 as well)

3. Unless you uninstall module completely, the name will NOT be changed after upgrade.

I guess in language content I should write original plugin name "en-GB.plg_community_example"

In text field should I write what I want to be shown instead and and does it have to be written with any special sign or just normal text?

Question 2.

How to limit activity before "Show more" button on community and profile page? For example I want 10 activity's to be shown and after that "show more" button.

Question 3.

Do users get points if they invite their friends to website over JS invite friends page? I don't see it under admin panel - user points. They should get points only when someone registers on website over Email they sent. Does that rule needs to be added maybe?

#2 You can edit the Jomsocial configuration->Layout->Frontpage Activities change this value to 10

#2 Since I don't see that rule by default I guess I have to create it manually? I read some documentation related to user points, and I read that I have to create xml file with some code. If I understood it right do I need to create something like this?

I suggest you hire the 3rd party developer for making this rule, we cant help you too much, becuase this is the addtional jobs.

We cant promise this user points rule will be added in next release, since we dont have any plan for it.
