js 2.6.1. (invalid token) and js 3.2.0.3 (session expired) - registration

Hi there,

1) pls can you tell me what tables in database i should delete after unistallation of js 2.6.1. I thought that when i uninstall it in joomla (component and all plugins and deleted jomsocial menu, jomsocial toolbar menu which was created after instalation ) it will remove all database tables.

Cause when i installed 3.2.0.3 a lot of settings were set up from older version and NEW jomsocial toolbar menu didnt work (com_community does not exist) i wanted "clean" installation of jomsocial. So now i have in database tables from both versions? Perhaps i should uninstall again, delete all old and new tables of jomsocial from database and install it again ?

2) I renew my license due to Invalid token erron always when registering new user (in. js 2.6.1.) (when i disabled jomsocial and used joomla registration it worked good ). After upgrading to js 3.2.0.3 js registration of new user showed session expired. please try again later error

I am using Joomla 2.5.20, js and css compression tool Jbetolo (to speed up site, it really helps :) get site's loading time from 6 to under 2 seconds, so i would be glad not to disable it) , jqueryEasy plugin to handle problems of different jquery versions , Yootheme Cloud template on Warp 6.1.10 framework (i dont have active subscription to renew), Yootheme ZOO and Widgetkit extensions (unupgraded - same reason as template from yootheme), some .htaccess tweaks .

Any idea how to fix this?


All seems working good but registration of new user not :(

Hi,

I think this issue caused by the 3rd party template override, which not compatible with newest Jomsocial version, please you use default template from Joomla.

Anyway, can you check again the FTP access, please? so i can debug this issue further.

1. If you want to have clean installation then you should remove all community tables in database. After dropping tables try to install JomSocial again.

2. Does it apply to your installation described in pt. 1?


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi thanks for reply,
FTP access credentials i sent you are good, but i unlocked ftp account now (it will be "open" for 12 hours) (it was locked and only defined IP can access it).

I hope you will advice me more detailed, what to do.

Hi Michal,
1) that tables are that ones with community prefix ? Are there any hidden without that prefix? And where can i find table of Jomsocial toolbar menu?

Hi there, again i uninstalled and deleted all database tables which have something with jomsocial, xipt (jspt from joomla xi) and emailasusername plugin , which both have template overrides end even if they were disabled they maybe throw that error.

Maybe it was your work in jomsocial 3.2.0.4 update, which i just installed.

Now i have working registration using Jomsocial on my Yootheme Cloud template and runing jbetolo compression tool.

So i mark this ticket as resolved.
