Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I have posted several posts on the stream, somehow the posts dis-appear without a trace. For example, when I post a video, it is then stored in the db but the post in the public stream disappears after a day or so, why is this? I checked every possible reason but still come to a blank. The user points are active, Karma is active etc.
Simply give me the reasons which can cause the post to disappear from the stream, thank you. Please understand I will not provide you with login info this time round, this is due to the strict privacy terms associated with our members, giving you login access would cause a compromise to our association with the member should anything go wrong.
Finally, should there be no other way to resolve this issue, you will have to confirm in writing that you have gained access to our administrator and FTP if needed, after-which we will grant you login credentials, thank you for understanding.

I'm afraid that this will not work that way. reasons of this could by dozens. We need to login to your site to debug it. Check for possible conflicts and run some diagnostics.
We can't help you in blind. Sorry...
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
For us to debug the issue, we will need to make posts and delete them. From your first post i can see this may not be what you want done on your live site.
We will need to make temporary changes and use functions to identify the issue. Some tests may be visible to users of the site. We also recommend you have a full backup of your site before we proceed.
Can you please provide a test site or confirm we can proceed. Please advise
Because the nature of your work is considered fairly major, we have discussed this issue with our server, they may have found the reason for loosing posts/data from the stream. They are NOT positive of this but there is a good chance that a PERL program we had on board triggered by CRON to perform updates of various natures, may have been the reason for the loss of data.
Should we loose more data within the next day or two, then we will have to close the site down and give you proper access to the site in order to rectify this issue once and for all.
Please keep this ticket OPEN as I will personally keep you updated with the latest news within a couple of days at the latest. Thanks again, and speak soon.
We have not received any response back from you in over 7 days, and would like to know if you consider this issue to be resolved. If you have any further questions, simply reply to this post.
