USER.PHP fix now causes major errors within groups
I too had an error with JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 1 and I applied the user.php fix supplied by iJoomla to correct this. Now I have major SQL errors when attempting to view a group as a logged in user or visitor. Permissions appear to be incorrect in whatever was changed in this user.php.
I tried to reinstall the older user.php from the 3.2.0.3 package but that gives me a completely blank website.
I am currently down due to this file. Can you please correct??
What you see in the graphic below is after the application of your new user.php going into a group as a logged in administrator I am provided a login popup. If I bypass the second SQL error occurs.
The user.php fix you supplied here in the forums corrupts the database. Unable to go back to the older user.php. I am now having to use a site backup to get back up and running.
I am getting this error JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: XX as reported by others. I attempted to use the user.php fix posted elsewhere on here and it trashed my test site when trying to go into a GROUP. Having to recreate my test site from a backup.
Sticking with the error display until a new user.php is created.
I have done this for about 50 accounts so far. Why was there a need to change the user database? This broke many third party extensions including the very popular Comet Chat. This requires me to spend $150 to get an upgrade only if they have been able to make their very popular chat system work with your new JomSocial user links.
