Upgrading jomsocial 3.2 was perfect. BUT problem upgrading Joomla 3.3
I did an upgrade of jomsocial 3.2 without any problems. Worked perfectly.
Today joomla! released their 3.3 update. I went to admin and did the normal one step upgrade and got this error which appears at the top of the page above:
call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class 'CAccess' does not have a method 'authorise' in /home/offerbou/public_html/components/com_community/helpers/access.php on line 74
Just did another test on local server and by clicking any profile link i get:
1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'GROUP BY `groupid`' at line 1 SQL=SELECT `groupid` FROM `ofbo_community_groups_members` WHERE `approved` = 1 AND `memberid` = GROUP BY `groupid`
Otherwise the site works perfectly with joomla 3.2x and jomsocial 3.2
OK... I was able to repeat the errors on another test site. Previously I updated jomsocial to 3.2 THEN Joomla to 3.3
This time I upgraded joola 3.3 first THEN upgraded jomsocial 3.2
I got similar errors.
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class 'CAccess' does not have a method 'authorise' in /home/ibuscuk/public_html/components/com_community/helpers/access.php on line 74

I have added site details of this second test - online for you to see.
Thanks for reporting this we are aware of this issue and writing a fix for it at the moment. We are currently advising customers not to upgrade yet, but you did before we put up the announcement.
We will be releasing the compatible version very soon
