Set BIRTHDATE field as not required
Let this field blank during the registration process. Nevertheless we've got error message because value in this field is wrong. We shouldn't because we've set it as not required.
Result is we can't finish the registration process.

I have tried at my local seeing and it is working fine.
It seems a bug may cause from third party extension at your site as I am seeing javascript error as screenshot attached.
Can you try with fresh joomla + socialize?
If the problem still persist then let me know.

it works if i use en-GB language instead of the french ones for the site.
Still don't know why I've jquery errors in relation with.
Can't find out where the mistake is in fr-FR-com_community.ini file?

Hi,
finally found the issue. Wasn't in relation with jquery conflict but with the translated file.
More precisely with the following field: COM_COMMUNITY_DATEPICKER_CURRENT ="today"
In french it's translated as "Aujourd'hui" seems something wrong with the character '.
I've just removed it, unfortunately it becomes a french mistake.
