Hi,
Joomla v3.2.3
JomSociel v3.2.0.1
At the front end the gender statistics are not displayed through the stats jomsocial module.
Others stats are displayed excepts the gender ones.
At the backend. Gender stats are all null.
Cheers,
L

Hi SAS Coeurs de Breizh,
I have created an account at your site and fill the all fields, It is working fine.
I would suggest you to fill all necessary fields to see the result.

Thanks

Hi,
I think you've mixed the gender issue with the map issue.
Since your last registration as you can check from the front and the backend page gender is either not displayed nor takes in account.

Hi,
another issue concerning the stats account gender.
It displays the average age instead of the gender's count.
See the attached file.
Cheers,
L

Hi SAS Coeurs de Breizh,
Sorry that I did not explained elaborately.
Actually I got your point and here is what i am trying to say you

There are two way to fill the fields and here we need to fill the gender filed
1. From frontend > user login and edit his/her profile
2. From backend > Login at site admin panel > components > jomsocial > monitor > members > edit each member

Note: if there some user register new account with simple profile then the user will be ignored for gender statistics.
Thanks

Ashraf,
concerning the front end statistics display:
for the time being the site has 2 males and 2 females(with full profile set) so as far as i understand this stats should be displayed, am i right ?
It shouldn't.
it's even worst as we don't get anything about the gender stats looks like it was disable.
concerning the backend gender stats:
It seems based on the average age not on the number of male/female, am i right ?
My main concerns is about the front end gender stats.

L

Hi SAS Coeurs de Breizh,
I have just filledup the gender field of existing two user (one as male and another as female).
and see the demographic stat is working fine.
about the question

It seems based on the average age not on the number of male/female, am i right ?

Yeah, you are right.
The top pie chart showing the percentage of male and female and the below it shows the average age of both.
Thanks

Hi SAS Coeurs de Breizh,
I have just published "Community - JomSocial Statistics" at js_side_frontpage position and seeing the moduel at frontend jomsocial frontpage.
It shows Male= 3, Female = 1

and at the backend dashboard demographich section pie chart
it shows Male = 75%, Female = 25%

and if you go to admin panel > components > jomsocial > monitor > member
you will see total user 5 though at dashboard top statistics you will see 4.
at here you need to filter by only Jomsocial user from the top filtering option
and you will see there are 4 member which is equal to all where.

Hope you get my point.
Thanks

Hi,
OK we've found the issue. If you change Male & Female display text from the default to Hommes & Femmes, in fact the translated text
it won't displayed the stats in relation with. Strange isn't it ? Bug or not ?

Hi,
since I've upgraded to Joomla v3.3.0 issue is back.
On the front end no display in relation with gender, can be seen if you login as Admin with pass as described for JSupport.
On backend 100% on female which is wrong as we have only one on 5 members.

Hi SAS Coeurs de Breizh,
I have checked again and it still seems working ok.
There are 5 members according to dashboard member statistics
and as I see 2 person among of 5 are female.
So the demographic male/female statistics is 60%/40%
Thanks
