hi, i didnt realise you needed joomla to make jomsocial work this was information i was trying to find out before i bought it, anyway i dont have my own server i am going to use amazon s3 is there a how to guide on setting up/ installing joomla?

I suggest you use this hosting provide www.cloudaccess.net . They offer Joomla installation inside it, so you only need install Jomsocial then.
