Upgrading to 3.1.1 Got stuck on "Updating Database"

I was stuck updating to 3.1.1 so I removed the menu as per

Once I upgraded, the menu is still missing. Please advise. How can I reinstall the menu items?

I'm sorry but you have to do it manually.
This is fixed in JomSocial 3.2...


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Can you please provide a list of links so I can put them back? Something like:

  • Profile: index.php?option=com_community&view=profile
  • etc..

Providing list with link will has no use as JomSocial menu items should be not an "external links" but page links.
So I think that list of menu items will help you better:

Profile
- My Profile
- Change Profile Picture
- Change Profile Video
- Edit Profile
- Edit Details
- Privacy
- Preferences
- Customize My Page

Friends
- Show All
- Search
- Advanced Search
- Invite Friends
- Request Sent
- Pending my approval

Groups

Photos

Videos

Events

Only Profile and Friends has sub menus. All page links you'll find in menu item list when create menu item in Joomla!.
