Hello, I'm wondering what could possibly cause this problem when registering?
Since people have been complaining that they are unable to register, it appears when people submit the information on the second page (birthdate, hometown, city etc)

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in
/components/com_community/controllers/register.php on line 778

This issue is JomSocial related and it seem that you don't have valid JomSocial license for support. It probably expired.
Please check www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses and if it's valid, post report about license issue here:
www.jomsocial.com/forum/billing-issues


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

The issue seems to be fixed to an extent
but now when people make a new account, they are unable to log in because they receive an error that the username and password do not match

would this be able to be fixed if I renew the subscription?

I'll be happy to help you but link to your site you provided us don't work anymore. I get 404.
Could you edit your first post and check credentials you provided us?
