About upgrade to 3.1.1

My current version is jomsocial 3.1.0.4.

I would like to upgrade to 3.1.1. What is the best way to upgrade?

Hi Linda,

# login to your backend
# go to ijoomla installer component there
# click upgrade Jomsocial there.. the installation will run automatically.

Hi, Linda.

The best way is to do it yourself - you'll be independent :)

0. Make a safe copy first with Akeeba backup: Backend -> Components -> Akeeba Backup -> Backup Now -> Backup Now
1. Backend -> Components -> iJoomla installer
2. Upgrade
3. Follow instructions during upgrade - it's really simple.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
