Hello, I have just updated a client site using the update 3.1.1. that Jomsocial said was critical to install. The update has completely taken out our site and left admin completely inaccessible. I have no idea where to begin troubleshooting and have no idea how to revert back to the original version. All of our community links are broken and we cannot access admin at all now. Please help me get my client's site back after this fatal upgrade attempt.
Hi, Joe.
I need to access your site via FTP... but I can't do that with FTP credentials you provided us.
Please check them.
Hi, Joe.
No, I still can't.
Please edit your first post and check if credential is ok.

Hi, Joe.
I can't connect to remote host.
Are you sure that host address is:
www.bluehost.com
?
Or maybe I should connect with specific port? I connect vi 21 by default...
Connecting to FTP is crucial for debuging that issue as we can't reach backend.
If you can connect then go to installation main folder.
Change chmod (permissions) for file configuration.php from 444 to 666 (grant permission to write) -> save
Edit configuration.php and change "public $error_reporting = 'default';" to "public $error_reporting = 'maximum';
Save the file.
Again change permission from 666 to 444 -> Save
Go to backend and post error information here.
Error reporting has been turned on. Here is the message that appears. You can see this message if you go to
www.sdpridefit.com
.

Hi, Joe.
Yes, new FTP login data works as gold :)
Fixed. Probably upgrade was interrupted for some reason and lots of files for backend and front end ware not unpacked on server.
Please check if it works also for you.
