Hi,

after having the problem of registration of users in the front end (session expired" error message), I want to create some new members in the back end.
However, when I connect to the backend, now:
- The dashboard is keeping searching for info and doesn't display any info on the user engagement, data statistics, demographics...
- I can not access the "members" list in the Monitor tab.

and in the front end:
- all the members are normally visible
- but when I click on my profile "about me", it only brings me back a blank screen with 2 lines in black without hyperlinks: "about me" as a title and "Basic information" as a second line.

What can be wrong?
Could it be as well hack again, even if I don't see any hack tracks? or problem with the database?

Thanks in advance
yves

Hi, yves.

I noticed that when in backend I want to change configuration I get: "Could not save data. Error: Could not write to the configuration file"... display of configuration is changed but changes don't work.

So I'm unable to debug that issue as I can't set errors to be displayed.

It apply also to your previous tickets and my attempts. Couldn't change anything in Joomla! configuration.

Could you check if proper chmod/chown are set for configuration.php?

Also this should help you: docs.joomla.org/Cannot_save_Global_Configuration_changes

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal,

I reinstall JomSocial (without having deactivated some plugins) and then the system works fine again.
