Upgrade installation to include security patches not completing

I have tried to upgrade my jomsocial to incorporate security patches and it has stalled three times at the database stage.

Hi Susan Burton,
There is a problem with "JomSocial toolbar" menu.
It should be "JomSocial toolbar" with menu type alias "jomsocial-toolbar".
I have updated the menu and the Jomsocial Component as well.
Now it is working fine. Please check.
