JomSocial Expired

Hello Awesome Jomsocial Support,

After a while I have decided to upgrade to your improved Jomsocial 3 however upgrades can cause anxiety and I wanted to verify steps first. I have viewed this Wiki Link
It is not clear to me from my current version of 2.6.1 where to begin as it references 2.8 only.
My current Joomla is 2.5.4 ready to go to 2.5.5
My current Jomsocial is 2.6.1
As well I am not sure if Joomla should upgrade first or Jomsocial

Would you be able to assist by clarifying steps from my current 2.6.1

Thank YOU !!!

Hi Michael.

You can now simply install JomSocial 2.6.3, and then proceed with upgrading to the 2.8.4 version, once you done that, you can now go through this documentation, how to upgrade from 2.8 to JomSocial 3.0 > documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Upgrade..._3.0.x_on_Joomla_2.5

Hi Michael.

As far I can see you're using JomSocial 3.0.1 version which outdated version, could you try to upgrade to the latest 3.1.0.4 version?
