We need to change the forms of jomsocial that comes out as emails to users.

Where can this be changed.

Hi Chab,

Just go to ROOT - Language - en-GB - open en-GB.com_community and search "mail template"..
all email template are below this string until "in-use" string .. but edit carefully okay :) don't forget to backup your en-GB.com_community first before editing :)

ROOT means where you place your joomla files :) in Cpanel it should be Public_html/www :)

So you want to edit "website url" in notification email ? as far as i know this website name was taken from your profile auatomaticly when you registered in jomsocial (i mean where you bought jomsocial) you have been entered your domain and test developement domain right ?

But i will ask about this to my team mate.. because i'm not sure about it :)

Can you explain more, i didn't got your point about this thread.. i think you want to change email body message.. but you want to change all the form about jomsocial email and i don't understand about that..

can you explain more and give a screenshot which part do you want to change (give mark or anything in your screenshot)

user daemon and use the same password given to you by the form. kindly let us know if you need to change anything

I Mean FTP or CPANEL (Hosting Access), not your joomla backend access because i must try to edit 1 or 2 files and test it directly.. i can't do this on my local server because it's about email template..

Thanks for your reply. This is a dedicated server and the only access I have is ssh and using root. I can provide the tar file for the whole
httpddoc directory if you like and then you can tell me which files to modify so we can test. Surely you should know which files are involved in this template without coding?

i forgot, you can edit that on jomsocial backend configuration :)

go to your jomsocial backend -> configuration -> site
search for "Frontpage Title" & "Copyright Text" and then change it likes what you want :)
