JomSocial Database it is hanging at the point "Create menu item" (solved)

Hi,

As you have provided close to non information on your problem. These are my assumptions:
- you're trying to install JomSocial
- you're trying to upgrade JomSocial
- ... ?

In the first 2 cases it might help to go the database find the #__menu table, look for all jomsocial menu items and delete those rows. MAKE SURE TO BACKUP EVERYTHING FIRST.

After doing that go and see if the installation / upgrade / ... works fine.

Hi,

Check out my other posts. I had to do this one because for some reason I could not edit my original post or reply to it.

My jomsocial is working great, but when I click on the jomsocial link on the admin menu in joomla, it takes me to the upgrade screen which stops on the "Create Menu Item" and does not move forward. I dont know what to do with that as I do not get any error messages.

If this doesnt help, please look at my original post. Passwords to the site and db are there.
