Issue on new user notification

Installed last version JS
Every time a new user register a new account an email notification come sent to all users instead to be sent just to administrator. The email show the New users details! Big problem about privacy. Please tell me how to fix it. Thanks.

How do you know that it goes to all users?
Can you give me an username of those who receive such emails?

A lot of users informed me they received this email notification, I'm not sure about all users but lot of users yes.

An user nickname is "farfy"

The user "farfy" at your site is set to receive system emails in Joomla user manager, hence, she will recieve such emails.



This is probably the case with all the users that get the same emails

I noticed the major part of users at my site have set "Yes" except last new entries users.
Since now they did'nt reveive similar notification, never.
That's strange.
First question: Can a user set "yes" or "not" at this field?
Second question: How can I set "no" to all users having "yes"? (quickly and easily)
Last question: Where can I set "no" for all new users?

Hi Piero

This is strictly Joomla option to handle, so let me give you few quick insights on it

1. User does not have ability to set this option anywhere on Joomla frontend
2. Most likely with the ALTER SQL query, but what tables and what values to change should be better to ask on Joomla forums
3. It should be set to "No" by default
