We create a jomsocial 3.1 but my users don't receive the notification emails.

I try to use a cron (setcronjobs) but doesn't works.

Questions:...
1. Why don't receive any type of notifications if i have check YES send notifications
2. it's' necessary a cron with jomsocial 3.1
3. My jomsocial queue mailing its empty

Crons are necessary, that's for sure. And I fixed the problem by clicking on "reset existing privacy" and saving all changes.
