I don't know why, but the registration doesn't work. The first page in which the users enters e-mail, password etc. works fine. But after clicking the "register"-button the page which loads is empty.

I've done some overrides, but even disabling them doesn't make a change.

You are using old Jomsocial version please you update with the newest version, and please make sure you use default Jomsocial template.

I can't update automatically/via backend because the server doesn't allow "allow_url_fopen" (hoster) and .htaccess and php.ini is also denied.

If I want to update JomSocial manually, what do I have to consider? Can I manually copy the new files into the components-folder or do I have to consider other folders than the components-folder?

Hi Anja,

You dont need to use iJoomla installer to update your Jomsoical, just use jomocial package and install like usual you install the plugins/modules/or another component
