Hi I am using Guru Pro for courses and lessons. In it I would like to add /embed the Ms Word and MS PowerPoint documents but not able to insert and view at student's view. Can you please let me know how to embed these files same as PDF files?

You can create word and powerpoint media files and you can add that media in Guru lessons but you need to select for that media files - "Display" option as a link, not wrapper, and in front-end, the students will see a link to that word and powerpoint file.

Only files that are recognized by user browser will be displayed in browser content. This easily apply to PDF files but not .doc, .docx or .ppt, .pps files as they need to be rendered by a special program. So the best way - if you want to embed such a files is to convert text files to PDF and for multimedia presentations to video-like files. Try this service: www.slideboom.com
