ISSUE SUMMARY: No courses are available in the select course drop down on the back end. I have verified that courses are available and assigned to registered users and ensured the students I have added are registered users.
STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Navigate on Guru component to manage students > new student > existing user
2 Enter the username of a registered user and select next.
3 Complete the fields and select the courses dropdown box.

This dropdown is populated ONLY if student was enrolled to a course and it's used to remove student from that course.
If you want to add new user or a student to a course you need to do that by adding new ORDER in Backend -> Extensions -> Guru -> Finances -> Orders.
Click NEW button in upper right corner. Only this way you'll be able to add student to a course... or remove student from it *by deleting order).
