Hello, I would like to know how to add more fields in the user record GURU
HI.
Thank you for contacting us.
This won't be rather easy... it's not only adding some new fields in the code (both frontend and backend) but also changing database structure. So it will be a lot of coding - in some cases also core files hack.
Core hacks are not recommended nor supported as they may not working with future Guru releases and/or cause issues that won't be not supported. Users with core files hack often refuse to upgrade their installation to keep those hacks and they are stuck with outdated and unsupported versions. Also, core hack will be overwritten during upgrade.
But if you insist you may hire a developer who will customize code for you. Here you may contact some experts that will help you:

Do you have any way to make the log redirection for joomla?
HI.
Yes, this one is easy :)
We created a plugin called JomSocial Redirect Plugin.
Just enable it and configure landing points.
Make sure that you use PUBLIC menu items for landing pages for failed and logout ;)
It works for GURU?
Hi.
It should as there is one login mechanism in Joomla!
Could you tell me where low this plugin and guide me how to do the procedure?
Hi.
Browse to your backend plugin list.
Search for JomSocial Redirect plugin.
Edit it.
Set menu item for log in, log out and failed login. Just choose menu items from the dropdown list.
Enable plugin and save.
JomSocial installed, I could not make the GURU of registration redirect to the default Joomla, could check, please.
HI.
I assign Guru developer to this thread.

Hi,
Sorry for my late response on this one.
I read previous posts and I understand that you want to make some redirects? Well, guru registration page is different from the Joomla one and have his own procedure. Through it an user can register as a Student or as Teacher. It can't be redirected in any way as like I said is creating Guru users (teacher/student) and not only Joomla users.
Make sense?

Alin
